Abstract

Beta Turtle is a six member’s team, ranging from moderate to aggressive analysts as per their risk profiles. Each member was given an amount of INR 25,000 to invest, which makes an investment corpus of INR 1,50,000. The investment philosophy of the team is to invest in growth stocks chosen based on bottom up approach whose entry and exit points will be determined by the technical analysis. The philosophy’s rationale is to enter into fundamentally strong stocks chosen from a pool of industries to avoid the divergence risk. As the investing horizon is four months and inclusive of four main festivals, so considering the seasonality impact, stocks with short term growth potential were chosen. To decide on entry and exit points, technical indicators are used to avoid the fluctuations risk.
