Abstract

The Student Managed Investment Course (SMIC) at TAPMI is a real-life validation in TAPMI’s focus to provide experiential learning experience to its students, where are given the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge of Corporate Finance, Valuation, Portfolio Management, Value Investing and Technical Analysis to manage real time portfolio. Each student is given Rs 25000 and in a group of six, they are mandated to invest the corpus in the Indian equity market. One member performs the role of portfolio manager while others act as research analysts. The loss on the portfolio is bear by the team
