Abstract

Organizations have considered Information Security mechanisms as prescriptive of the adequate utilization of the Internet Banking Interface. Although Information Integrity propels the link between Information Security and Utility of the Internet Banking Interface, we have only anecdotal or speculative evidence. In this context, we developed a systematic framework to test the postulated "Information Security-Information Integrity-Internet Banking Interface Utility" chain. To this end, considering the responses from a sample of retail Online Banking users, the mediating role of Information Integrity in the Information Security – Internet Banking Interface Utility is empirically tested and substantiated, using Structural Equation Modeling.
