Abstract
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a methodology which presents an integrated approach to resolve issues in Sourcing, Customer-Service, pemand Flow and Distribution. This paper gives a conceptual frame work for SCM, the Problems and Challenges in India and also looks into the issue as to how Strategy, quality and Cost are affecting the Supply Chain Management concepts. This paper also touches upon the Major Strategies one should focus on, for making SCM effective in their organizations.
