Abstract

The team Alpha Quest was guided by the philosophy ““To invest in fundamentally strong companies capable of giving short term capital gains by determining entry points using technical indicators” with emphasis on fundamentally strong. Thus, we made sure that the stocks we invested in were fundamentally strong. At the same time,we kept the track on the events that were expected to influence our investment. Each team member of Alpha Quest was provided with 25000 from TAPMI.These amounts combined formed the initial corpus of 125000 which was invested in the stocks for the time horizon of 20 weeks.We were forbidden from investing in derivatives,currencies,bond market,foreign exchange and commodities.
