Abstract

As investors, we followed a Core Satellite approach. The corpus provided to us was 1,25,000 INR. This was invested into two main categories – ETF’s (Passive Portfolio) and Equity Stocks (Active Portfolio). To put it in numbers, we had put 40% of the corpus into ETF’s and the remaining into Equity. This decision was arrived at after analysing the risk profile of each individual in the team. The team’s risk appetite was ‘moderate’. We also agreed on taking NIFTY 50 as our benchmark for evaluating the portfolio performance.
